Before moving on to more pressing issues in social media let me nail to the wall this one final post about Klout. Here are five questions that remain unanswered by Klout. And I don’t expect clear, accountable answers any time soon: [read more]

A week ago I wrote "Delete Your Klout Profile Now!" a passionate call for people to opt-out of Klout, the company in the business of measuring a person's "social influence." The post was read by more than 12,000 people and re-posted 2,200 times. In the spirit of fairness I submitted a list of questions to Klout CEO Joe Fernandez and he agreed to respond. I promised to run his answers verbatim. Here's my questions and Fernandez' answers to criticisms about Klout. [read more]

Klout hosted their November KloutChat yesterday at 3PM PST (6AM SGT). As expected, the flurry of tweets (as seen from the search of #KloutChat) came in fast and furious, with many blasting Klout for their lowered Klout scores and the seeming lack of transparency over the changes in the Klout algorithm.
