On Grammar Police: 12 Mistakes Nearly Everyone Makes

We all make mistakes. I make them all the time with my grammar. Writing helps me change that around.

Have you ever added something up and you got it wrong? Does that mean we should stop counting too?

The so called "Grammar Police" need to back off and see past the spelling and grammar. If the content doesn't do it for them, move on and find content or blog posts that don't have mistakes.

You'll be looking for a long time to find an article that couldn't be disected into tiny little pieces of grammar errors.

It's getting boring. Find the good in people. Come on.

On Facebook Reach Vs. Relevance. What’s in It for Me?

Hi Dare,

Thanks for commenting.

What you also need to remember is even if you're not a Facebook user, someone in your audience will be and will want to share to their audience.

I'm glad you have started to use call-to-actions in your blog. If a new user comes to your blog and sees you have had shares, it makes you more credible and trust worthy to the new eyes on the blog.

If it was all about the fans, we would all be buying likes and then total disaster would happen.

I'm glad you like the new post and please come say hi sometime on my social media profiles.

That is good marketing math.

It has to be about the fun as social is a fun event.

Very true Warren! We're all influencial in someway and a list does not make you influential. It's the connections you make and the things you do and not just say, that can lead the path to influence online. It's that human connection with two or more people, whether it be online or in real life that makes the difference. The list encourages people to do more and hopefully more of the correct things. Thanks Warren for commenting here and on my own blog too. By you making that connection and the effort to head over to my own blog which originates this infographic has gave you influence from me and these types of steps is what we need to teach people, that human connection you made through online methods.

On How to Rock Social Media in 30 Minutes a Day [INFOGRAPHIC]

I really like the infographic. If you have a clearly defined strategy and strapped for time, I can see how 30 mins will be suffice. Just like anything else, the more you put in, the more you will get out of it. If you're doing 30 mins and it's working and benefitting you, then great, but if it's not making the use of your time, then I would suggest find more time or do something else that is working with your 30 minutes.

Hi Sam,

You may not have noticed my reply as I never clicked the reply button on your post.

I know if I never got an email saying I had a reply, I may not check back.

Hi Sam,

First of all I would like to say, I love your community on Google+ with Danny Brown, great insights into influence marketing and I'm on your side. I've pre-ordered the book too.

I believe influence can't be monitored by a score and I for one, don't want to be associated with a number either.

What I can say, is the infographic was fun to do, my first one and I have learned a lot from doing it.

To be monitored by just twitter influence and blogger outreach is no way an acurate influence score online as I would say I have more influence on other channels than twitter and even my blog for instance but when this report was made it clearly stated how the score was made.

You have a great insight into this, but what it does for others is it encourages them to do more or do better, so for that I'm happy to sift through the lists to see if I can find any encouragement and seek out better ways.

Thanks Sam, can't wait for the book to land in my letterbox.

On Will Facebook Lose Small Business?

I feel your pain, I really do. But the other argument is, if all your fans interacted with your page they would see your posts in their news feeds so it's a question of content vs engagement. Also Facebook has always never shown all your posts to everyone, now they are giving you more opportunities to reach more by offering promoted posts feature. Tricky subject just now but we have to be creative and do things different to win. I loved reading your post and will be sharing tomorrow.
