Excellent points Chris! I agree that natural disasters can be ther own beast. I relied on only slightly tweaking formatted messaging surrounding the BP oil spill when engaging potential volunteers in Massachusetts in coordination with the "on-the-ground" response team in the Gulf. The same process took place when I partnered with the WSPA to coordinate disaster relief funding following the tsunami that hit Japan. Consistency is key when spreading information from a central disaster quickly. Thank you for commenting!
