Hi Maureen,

Using the same hashtag twice in one Tweet does not have any effect at all; the Tweet still shows up in the same stream in its proper chronological position. However, if you do use a word twice in one Tweet -once in your comment and once as a hashtag-, it is best to hashtag at the end of the Tweet, after the link or media you've posted. For example, in Tweeting this article: "7 Social Media Do's and Don't's for Small Businesses [link] #smallbusiness". Hope this helped, have a great weekend!
