Thanks for the comment. I think we are streadily approaching the age where side bar links and banner ads are truely wasteful. I mean have you clicked any banners lately, because I have not. However, placement ads seem much more "useful" to me, at least if I was an advertise.
I think Buzzfeed handles ads and sponsored posts very well, with their posts still being entertaining but also brought to you by "company xxxxx" with their brand incorporated in the post.
So I guess my short answer would be the sharing of videos and interestesting content like pictures.
