On Twitter Does Not Represent Public Opinion

I'm not so sure the demographic has everything to do with it.  I think bullying and trolling has a lot to do with it as well.  Anyone with an opposing opinion is mocked, criticized and subsequently drowned out.  People's etiquette when it comes to politics is disgusting in this country. People are simply not allowed ot have their own beliefs anymore.

On The Social Media Monster [Infographic]

Fun infographic but I have to totally object to the ongoing myth that Social Media makes for poor productivity. People thought the same thing about the web in general once, blocking all external traffic. Many companies still block traffic to some sites.  The reason why its a myth is that no one takes the time to analyze the difficult OTHER half... how much time does social media SAVE organizations.  Here's one small example... I can go ask my group of industry professionals for help with a certain task - and they'll always point me in the right direction.  5 minutes of networking and I can save days, sometimes, weeks of work.

Stop spreading this myth.  The savings far outweigh the losses.  If you have an employee that's abusing their time on social networks, what would they be doing if social media was NOT available? You're kidding yourself if you think they would have been working.

I'm seeing a lot of manual processing and research here... but not actual "marketing automation".  Where is the system that you can build these rules into and actually generate automated messaging processes and measure the conversion results on?
