On The 1-9-90 rule won't work for Internal Collaboration

@ Kevin - it depends for Benet it needed to be outside - I would say inside is best unless you need to collaboration power of suppliers and partners

On The 1-9-90 rule won't work for Internal Collaboration

@Benet - I would say SocialCast has the ability to create groups outside (and inside) your organization - then you can get collaboration and sharing going

also if you wanted to you could run a contest of sorts that would incent people to contribute without having to give them $ perhaps something else of value

On Twitter does not have an Out of Office feature

@ Brandon - I think the 3 hour rule is just not feasible for a small to mid size business - but for big brands it absolutely applies

As you know the convetrsation is over fast on many blogs and issues - so you need to be there if you want to particpate

On Is Real Time Marketing in your future?

On Social Network based Caller Routing

@ Annabey - Fair enough - I think with any technology there are people who love it, hate it and somewhere in between. While you comment does make some really great points - the ability to make this happen and give a high level of customer service (which I feel we have been sorely lacking in this country) would be a great addition even if my scenarios werent the perfect use cases.

On Content IS your Brand

that's a great point

consider this - in 2008 UGC has surpassed that of publishers - and there is more content on blogs now than in the library of Congress in DC

so publishers are now the "white noise" in the market so we really have to think if we just want to add more noise (quantity) into the system or do we what to add Quality into the system

I would vote for the one that would get you noticed the most ...

On The End Of Email - Celebrating The Imminent Death

Great points - but I cant help but think about a similar prediction when ATMs were going to wipe out tellers - years later we still have both - so I think the answers is - we will still have all of the above and then some. then the question becomes how will we manage our time. If you think about it - more people spend time in thier email per day then they do on social networks - when that fails to be the case then I would worry about email until then - I will see you in my inbox!
