@ Kevin - it depends for Benet it needed to be outside - I would say inside is best unless you need to collaboration power of suppliers and partners

@Benet - I would say SocialCast has the ability to create groups outside (and inside) your organization - then you can get collaboration and sharing going

also if you wanted to you could run a contest of sorts that would incent people to contribute without having to give them $ perhaps something else of value

On Twitter does not have an Out of Office feature

@ Brandon - I think the 3 hour rule is just not feasible for a small to mid size business - but for big brands it absolutely applies

As you know the convetrsation is over fast on many blogs and issues - so you need to be there if you want to particpate

@ Annabey - Fair enough - I think with any technology there are people who love it, hate it and somewhere in between. While you comment does make some really great points - the ability to make this happen and give a high level of customer service (which I feel we have been sorely lacking in this country) would be a great addition even if my scenarios werent the perfect use cases.
