On 6 Ways to Fix Your Social Media When Drunk Tweets Get Out

What would your opinion be on Groupon's blunder: http://mashable.com/2014/02/17/groupon-presidents-day/ From the outside it looks like they're trying to spin a mistake into an intentional mistake, but it doesnt' seem like anyone's biting.

On The Mind-Boggling Lunacy of People Impressed with Esurance's Super Bowl Campaign

This post was remarkably insightful and confirmed my weariness of the Twitter campaign from its initial inception (I still tweeted the hashtag though, because you never know!). This would have been more successful on the awareness metric, which you mentioned is not Esurance's problem. Awareness of their products besides auto insurance sure, but that wasn't part of the campaign. It was just a hashtag that led nowhere and everyone's forgotten about now.

On Why Google+ Will Demand Our Attention in 2014

Unfortunately it's still a work in process that's hurt more than fixed. I actually address this ordeal in much more detail here: http://esmeraldaip.com/google-plus-make-youtube-comments/ :)

On Why Google+ Will Demand Our Attention in 2014

I agree with Avtar above, Google is demanding our attention but that doesn't mean it's working. As someone who works extensively on the YouTube platform, the Google+ integration with YouTube comments has been a disaster. Even those who agree to integrate their Google+ account into their YouTube channels are having big issues. As for the segregated emails, the system isn't perfect as it doesn't classify emails correctly.

On The "Miley Circus" Factor: Transitioning Your Product to a New Audience

Who wrote the "NOTE" section? Seems like an editing blunder, given that the original linked article does not have that note, and both articles are posted by Justice Mitchell. So it seems weird for him to be referring to himself like this...

"NOTE: Regarding the previous paragraph. I get what you’re trying to do, so I left it. However, I personally wouldn’t make the “entertainers” (in quotes) or “tongue-in-cheek” comments because I think it has sort of a “get the hell off my lawn” feeling. The fact is that they are entertainers, whether or not your audience is entertained by them. And I would be hesitant to lump Justin Timberlake in that mix because the guy truly does have chops. He’s a good actor, has a great voice and comes off as a decent dude. The fact that he is now considered one of the great SNL hosts along with Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks and Steve Martin speaks volumes about how the industry regards him."
