On StumbleUpon Primer for Bloggers
Hi Saul, I'm still learning how to get the most from StumbleUpon and it already runs in the top five referral sites to my blog. Not only is StumbleUpon a great source of site traffic, it's quality traffic with low bounce rates.
I avoided StumbleUpon for a very long time because it seems old and outdated at first glance. They could do a lot to improve to site, such as program the toolbar to call up more recent posts while stumbling, but that doesn't stop us from networking with some great bloggers there.
I have about five or six people that I send posts to, out of about 325 connections. Would you recommend I send to all connections, all of the time? Right now I just send to those I receive pages from.

Hi Anonymous, That voice mail retrieval number would be great for bill collecters. As far as blogs go, I use a seperate email for blog commenting but I always check that one. Blogging is a big part of my life.
What's wrong with Facebook not liking hundred and four year olds. lol

On Delete Your Klout Profile Now!
While I do think the idea that our online influence can characterized by Klout is ridiculous, I do think our social media influence is determined by social sites in general and Klout is just another social networking site. Privacy issues are a concern with most of us online but it's funny that everyone is up in arms about an issue that can, for the most part, by controlled by us. Nothing is shared or made public that we haven't added ourselves, either by connecting accounts or by adding personal information.

On Social Media Cross Platform Promotion - Opening Pandora's Box
I agree with Gary and Lori. Many of our followers are on multiple networks. It seems we owe our following more than just duplicate updates and tweets every time we decide to promote something. A little uniqueness and creativity can go a long way in developing and retaining a targeted following. I understand this is practiced widely among marketers but, personally, I feel treating social networks like contextual advertising is a bad idea. Just my two cents.

On 19 Tools for Pinterest Pros
Very nice list of tools, Pinterest offers a huge opportunity for most websites. I just tried, and upgraded ;), Pin a Quote and came up with a unique idea for it. The only thing I don't care about it is the source URL automatically uses Pin a Quote's image URL rather than the actual source URL. I have to edit the pin to correct this bit of self-promotion which should be removed for paid users. Other than that, the tool works like a charm.
