On Demand Services. Hasso loves Google Earth
Software world is looking at Google, it's not a new thing.
We can find some examples of common Google functionalities in SAP products. Even Hasso in his keynote, (SAPPHIRE Orlando 2008) pointed out to Google Earth.
In Web 2.0 age, User is the King, and if you want to talk about a "king style" user experience, Google Earth is one of them.
Other point to make of you a king: gifts.
If you are a king you have to receive gifts, and one to one Google applications are a gift, you don't pay for them.
King User Experience for Free, it's the highest ambition in software world.
Historically SAP was in other domain , its applications were like Beggar User Experience for Big Money.
I know SAP is working to improve the UI part of their applications, but... is SAP going to offer something for free ?? Could SAP offer a personal business Web 2.0 application for free ? or should we wait for Google doing it ?
