Director of Community Marketing
Social Media Today, the first company to launch in the BtoB social media category and an industry leader, seeks to hire a director of community marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage our team of project managers
- Oversee fulfillment of all obligations to SMT clients, including development and event promotion
- Design and direct promotional campaigns
- Manage ongoing client relationships
- Develop third-party partnerships with agencies, media outlets and content-creators to support SMT's client-driven goals
- Coordinate with sales, technical and editorial teams for execution
- Plan, schedule and adhere to budget for all projects
- Establish metrics for and measure success
Required Skills:
- Excellent grasp of B2B and influencer marketing
- Ability to identify and successfully recruit influencers
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Expert project manager
- Ability to swiftly develop a working expertise in unfamiliar content segments
- Deep understanding of social channels for content distribution, promotion, and network development
- Solid grasp of online publishing logistics, including hands-on familiarity with HTML
- Ability to distinguish and discover excellent content in text, audio and video
- Ability to execute independently when necessary
Experience:
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in an agency or media marketing.
Pay commensurate with experience. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing and high profile leader in new media.

Project/Influencer Relations Manager:
SMT seeks a driven, creative project and influencer-relations manager to help manage event and premium content initiatives, manage promotional campaigns and projects, and cultivate relationships with top influencers in the B2B space.

Community Curator
Social Media Today is looking for multi-talented site editors/community managers to be the hands, eyes, ears, and brains behind our growing family of b2b online communities. Candidates must have highly-developed editorial judgment and a passion for quality content. We need the kind of people that can focus on the details without losing site of the big picture and who can help us refine our strategies and execute independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple sites
- Help define and execute each site's editorial vision
- Curate content for publication
- Light editing and "cleaning-up" submitted posts
- Comment moderation
- Corresponding with site bloggers and members
- Promote sites via twitter, Facebook, etc.
- New blogger recruitment
- Align content to publishing goals and one-time initiatives
- Serve as the company's knowledge base regarding the online competitive landscape for your sites' content areas
Skills
