About Social Media Today
With all the buzz about Microsoft's “Channel 9,” it might behoove us to take a look at how the 3rd largest software company has tackled social media. SAP's two sites now have more than 700,000 users, and certainly one of Shai Agassi's major accomplishments at the company was spearheading the construction of a social networking site using NetWeaver. Although Shai is going, a lot of very smart people are still in charge of the sites, and the company has ambitious plans for their growth.
Social Media Today will be finishing a case study on SAP's use of social media soon, but here's a podcast preview interview with Mike Prosceno, recorded February 9, 2007.
