These may include: provocative and inappropriate content, posts about drinking or using drugs, negative comments about previous employers or even sharing their confidential information, displaying a lack of communication skills and unacceptable discriminatory or racial comments.

With the large number of such incidents that have gained immense popularity over the internet people are starting to think twice about what they post online and who can view these posts.
It is important to make note and remember that while social updates can cause you to lose your job. They can also be the reason as to why recruiters don’t want to hire you. Recruiters like to know that the people they employ can fit in to the company well and finding questionable information related to you online can be the reason a recruiter would rather pass over you than take a risk by hiring you. Containing harsh opinions is also quite difficult as people today have the tendency to state their opinions and make reviews regarding all topics, whether it is to do with an online photo or an iPage review for web hosting services.
