Title: Managing Partner
Company: To Shay Social Media
— Bio —
To Shay Social Media is the business I started to include my work for entrepreneurs and organizations that want to spread the word. I help them with content creation, blog/ghost writing, and traditional and digital PR to help them share their business across all social media channels and with the media.
I lead PR, communications, and social media for the Office Politics Ninja, an education and entertainment business that speaks to people and companies ready to inspire a real cultural change in the workplace. I'm the columnist of the Social Startup series for Social Media Today. I also write for other areas of this independent, online community for professionals in PR, marketing, and advertising.
My volunteer roles that utilized my school and business background have included doing PR for the Girls Rule! Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering teen girls, and writing for Sisters, a Christian women's ministry.
Previously, I was the editor in chief of a lifestyle publication distributed in Arizona. Today, I write a bi-monthly column for East Valley Magazine. And before this, I was a communications specialist at a healthcare management company, handling the internal and external communications for the marketing department.
I've also served as an editor at a custom publishing company, managing syndicated magazines for nationwide hospitals and healthcare organizations.
I have a bachelor of arts in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a minor in public relations.
