The world has gone mobile, and your business needs to follow suit. But what's the best way to do that - through a dedicated mobile app, or a mobile-optimized website?
There are various considerations in favor of each - for example, research shows that users now spend significantly more time in specific apps than they do browsing on their devices. But research also shows that users spend 97% of that time in the same 10 apps, and 77% in their top 3, making it difficult to break into that attention bubble.
Mobile optimized websites, on the other hand, are much cheaper to create, with a range of cost-effective options at your disposal. If your brand is not something users need to check in with every day, it probably makes sense to go with an optimized site - but then what if you have a solid idea for an app that will help people and promote your business?
