There is a notion that social media is free. While many of the tools are free or inexpensive, there is a cost associated with the implementation and management of the tools and technology.
The reality is that organizations need to invest time and labor in order to extract the business value from social media. But how much time?

It should be noted that companies come in different shapes and sizes and any workflows that are developed should be guided by business objectives, social capacity and budget. That being said, I think business leaders should be prepared to invest more than 15 minutes a day.
