This week we have been getting a little over excited while David K put the finishing touches to our latest innovation, the KMP PR 2.0 Press Room.
This will be the place where the Social Media Press Release that Paul F talked about in the last blog is hosted.
The KMP PR 2.0 Press Room will use the best of blog technology to post press releases on the Internet and invite all interested parties to download the release and the press kit, i.e., photos hosted by flickr, videos hosted by YouTube and any other relevant files.
The release will be written in a search engine optimised format and will allow the user/reporter/ journalist to (i) view other related articles as the system automatically searches the Internet for related content; and (ii) to bookmark the release/article using a range of social bookmarks.
The content will also be automatically propagated across all relevant social networking sites, blogs and websites.
I time it is hoped that journalists and publishers will link to the company's PR 2.0 Press Room using an RSS link to keep updated with every content change, upload and update that occurs to the press room.
We will be sponsoring the How-do PR Awards in April and promoting KMP as providing "The future in PR Technology".
For those PR Agencies and company PR executives who want to find out more about how KMP could help you in the future you may want to register for our "Future in PR Technology" seminar to be held in June.
