Edward Sander
Vice President, New Product Strategy & IntroductionEd Sander is a senior technology executive currently responsible for testing & incubating SAP's newest software solutions as its corporate VP for New Product Strategy & Introduction.
He joined SAP's marketing organization in 2001 with global responsibility for its CRM product line and earned the CMO's Award for his marketing leadership in launching and establishing SAP's early CRM business. Prior to SAP, Ed was part of the senior management team at PeopleLink.com (a pioneering, social software venture of ideaLab!, AT&T Ventures and GE Capital) where he ran the Professional Services function for clients including Viacom, Oracle, Siebel and GE Medical Systems. Ed began his career in the early 90's with the company that would later become Monster.com (TMP Worldwide). As a core member of its corporate marketing & strategy group, Ed's work received accolades with Sears' "Partners-in-Progress" award for marketing innovation two years in a row, alongside other client work for Apple, Nissan, Honda and HP.
Ed is completing his MS in Technology Management at Columbia University and lives in Manhattan with his partner, Dr. Jennifer Jones (Learngarden.com). They are expecting their first child (a boy) in June, 2008.
