Gavin Hammar is the founder and CEO of Sendible.com, a social media management platform designed to make it easier for businesses and agencies to effectively manage their presence on social media. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Gavin qualified with a degree in Business Science, majoring in Computer Science in 2001.

He moved to the UK in 2005 and worked for various software companies including a small startup, m35, which specialised in banking integration systems. After leaving m35 in 2006, Gavin joined an online travel company where he led the development team. Around the same time, companies such as Twitter and Facebook were just starting to gain traction. Utilising the knowledge he gained from m35 to build robust integration systems, Gavin had the idea to develop desktop software to allow users to post to multiple services at once, saving them the hassle of having to log in to multiple services and post updates manually. In 2008, he launched the website Sendible.com which would leverage this software to enable users from all over the world to sign in and manage their social networking accounts from a single dashboard.

As social networking sites started to become more mainstream and businesses began to see the benefit of having a presence on these sites, Sendible evolved to become a solution for companies of all sizes to engage with their customers, generate new leads and monitor their reputation online. Sendible now has over 100,000 registered users and is successfully helping SMB's, Enterprises and Agencies to successfully execute a social media strategy that generates real tangible results for the business.
