Some of my favorite experiences in life have been "in the trenches" for my employers when I have played a major roll in representing the organizations to the world online. Before it was called "Social Media" I spent many hours writing content, creating widgets, developing data driven solutions, and managing teams of some of the most brilliant people I have ever met. Among my most loved accomplishments was the development of an online call center management solution for the now defunct Novastar Mortgage. At the time, 1999, we could not find a solution that allowed multiple users from any Internet connection to make outbound calls, accept inbound calls, send emails, make notes, accept mortgage applications and all other necessary functions for a mortgage marketing team. It took about 9 weeks to roll out the first version--which worked without fail. I also created the SwissArtex/ICHA online catalog ordering system. This was the first online catalog I ever saw that allowed the user to change the article of clothing that a logo would be applied to. Plus to many other projects and great companies to mention.
