Meta announced the latest updates to its Edits video editing app, including Halloween-themed effects, updated caption tools, and color and volume adjustments.
First, Meta added new fonts, sound effects and animations for Halloween, providing spooky creative options for video clips.

There are also 13 new text animations, providing a range of options to get into the seasonal spirit.
The Edits team also added a selection of new beat-synced effects, which include flashing lights and zoom effects that will automatically align with a clip’s music and sounds.

Edits is also getting new caption options, including additional styles and bulk editing.

Meta also added automated color adjustment tools, which should make it easier to balance brightness and color. In addition, there’s now the capacity to increase individual clip volume up to 150% within a project.

Edits has also expanded its carousel editor to Android devices. Carousel editing in Edits was added to the iOS version earlier this month.
Finally, Edits got a new filter designed in partnership with Nigeria-based musician Arya Starr.

The continued evolution of Edits has made it an increasingly valuable tool for video creators, with Meta packing a lot into the app. At this point, it now essentially provides a full video creation studio.
Edits is also coming to desktop soon, which will provide even more capacity to utilize its video creation and customization options.
