Meta announced some updates to its artificial intelligence-powered creator assistant chatbot, including opportunity alerts, improved content creation guidance and automated comment replies.
Launched in June, Meta’s creator assistant provides AI-powered guidance on opportunities across Facebook and Instagram, based on an automated analysis of what’s working in each app.
The new features will help to extend Meta’s AI guidance and offer more opportunities to improve content performance and tap into key trends.
First, creator assistant will be able to proactively alert creators to relevant trends in their niche.

As shown in these images, creator assistant will now highlight key trends and potential opportunities.
Creator assistant can also offer in-depth guidance on content creation, such as detailed plans on how to create standout content.
As explained by Meta: “You can hand it an idea and get a storyboard and shot list back, or upload a draft before you post and get specific feedback on what's working or could be better. It puts together a starting point, and you decide what happens next — helping you speed through parts of your process that slow you down while you remain in control of your content.”

The tool can also highlight the most relevant questions from viewers in the post comment section and generate replies in the creator’s voice to streamline responses.

Creator assistant is also now available on the web, within Meta’s Creator Dashboard.

This will provide expanded capacity to integrate Meta’s AI-powered tools into different workflow setups. Meanwhile, Meta said it’s looking to bring creator assistant to more apps and tools where creators are putting together content and content plans.
The additional guidance could help creators generate more engagement across Meta’s apps. At the same time, there is always a risk of over-automating. With more tools available that tap into trends, it seems inevitable that originality will become an even more powerful differentiator.
